RECIPE: Easy Iced Hazelnut Vanilla Soy Lattes
Continuing my theme from last week, here’s another easy espresso beverage (the complicated name notwithstanding
). You can leave out the hazelnut syrup, and save 25-30 calories depending on how much you use. I think it adds enough flavor, however, to make the extra calories worth it.
Ingredients:
2/3 cup (160 ml) vanilla soymilk
10-15 g (about 1 Tbsp) hazelnut syrup
1 double shot espresso*
Ice cubes to taste
* If you prefer, use a single shot. The nutritional estimates won’t change significantly, although the serving size will go down 1-1.5 oz, depending on the volume of your shot(s).
Directions:
Pour soymilk and hazelnut syrup in a 12-oz glass. Brew espresso and add to glass. Stir and add ice. Enjoy!
