RECIPE: Easy Iced Hazelnut Vanilla Soy Lattes

June 8, 2010

Continuing my theme from last week, here’s another easy espresso beverage (the complicated name notwithstanding ;) ). You can leave out the hazelnut syrup, and save 25-30 calories depending on how much you use. I think it adds enough flavor, however, to make the extra calories worth it.

Nutrition EstimateIngredients:
2/3 cup (160 ml) vanilla soymilk
10-15 g (about 1 Tbsp) hazelnut syrup
1 double shot espresso*
Ice cubes to taste

* If you prefer, use a single shot. The nutritional estimates won’t change significantly, although the serving size will go down 1-1.5 oz, depending on the volume of your shot(s).

Directions:
Pour soymilk and hazelnut syrup in a 12-oz glass. Brew espresso and add to glass. Stir and add ice. Enjoy!
